Provided are a battery swapping station, and a battery swapping method. The battery swapping station comprises a lifting apparatus, a control apparatus, and a battery swapping device. The lifting apparatus includes a plurality of lifting tables which are used to support the electric device and can be raised, and raising movements of at least two lifting tables are independent. The control apparatus is used to receive a tilt angle signal sent by the electric device, and can control a raising height of each lifting table according to the tilt angle signal, wherein the tilt angle signal is used to reflect a tilt angle of the electric device. The battery swapping device is used to swap a battery of the electric device. The battery swapping station can reduce the difficulty for disassembling and assembling a battery to increase efficiency for swapping the battery.
