METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DETERMINING ROUTE AND VEHICLE FOR DELIVERING GOODS WITH REDUCED CARBON FOOTPRINT

Disclosed is a method of determining a route and vehicle(s) for delivering goods, the method comprising steps of: obtaining request from user device of a customer with goods to be delivered from first location to second location; searching for a set of vehicles of journeyers in vicinity of first location and/or en-route to second location and having logistics capacity for goods transportation; determining proposed route for goods delivery, for each vehicle in the set; calculating, using AI model(s), a score for each journeyer who is able to deliver the goods, the score comprising first value calculated based on one or more of simulated data, historical data, and live data for the proposed route, and second value calculated based on carbon emission-related factor(s); determining the route to be used by comparing calculated scores; and matching one or more journeyers on determined route using vehicle(s) with the customer for enabling goods delivery.
