Method and device for geographically guiding the user of a vehicle
DRIVE
August 4, 2004
The process involves obtaining a new location of a vehicle based on a preset temporal comparison value, calculated route and last computed location when the value is detected. A message containing guiding information relative to a portion of the calculated route is sent to a user on a mobile communication terminal. The route is from the new location to an intermediate position between the new location and a destination point. The route envisaged for the vehicle from a starting point to the destination point is calculated from geographical data. An independent claim is also included for a geographical guiding system for vehicle user.
