Method for manufacturing plates for lead batteries

The method involves subjecting plates (10) to saturated vapor in a hermetically-sealed evacuated room with temperature between 75 and 130 degrees Celsius in a saturated vapor phase, where the plates are arranged at a distance from each other in a frame (7). The plates subjected to the saturated vapor are subjected to room atmosphere in an end phase after the saturated vapor phase, and the plates are ready to use after 20 seconds, where the saturated vapor phase is executed for time period between 28 and 45 minutes.
