Method for manufacturing a turbocharger housing

The method involves connecting a bearing flange (2) with sheet metals (5-8) of a turbocharger housing (1). Surfaces (12) of the respective sheet metals are measured to limit gap in a turbine wheel after connected with the bearing flange. The bearing flange is machined depending on the measured values of the sheet metals to adjust position of the wheel to the bearing flange and to the sheet metal. Position of the wheel to surfaces of a bearing housing is measured after inclusion of the measured values during machine cutting process of the flange.
