The exhaust gas turbocharger (1) has turbine housing (3) and compressor housing (2) while turbine housing is designed as a sheet metal component. The turbine housing has a discharge flange (7) for coupling an exhaust gas line, and a bearing flange (5) for direct or indirect coupling to the compressor housing. A sheet-metal jacket (6) is arranged between bearing flange and discharge flange which are coupled together by connecting elements (10).
