High pressure injector

The high-pressure injector has an injection unit (1), a drive unit (2) for driving the injection unit, a high pressure port (4) and a high-pressure storage unit (3) for supplying fuel to the injection unit. A housing (5) is arranged in a longitudinal direction of the injector. The drive unit and the high-pressure storage unit are completely enclosed within the housing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a combustion engine for use with one or multiple high-pressure injectors; and (2) a method for manufacturing a high-pressure injector.
