Edge protection element

The edge protection element (1) has two leg portions (2,3) which are assigned to a good and have contact surfaces (4,5) in the mounting position. The contact surfaces are adjacent to the leg portions. The leg portions are made of a solid plastic with a low elasticity. The surface section is formed by a directly adhesively joined cap piece (16,17) that is connected with one of the leg portions.
