The load lashing system, to secure a load at a motor vehicle floor, has at least one locking pawl (3) moved between two positions at a rail (2). The pawl can be pulled upwards out of the rail. A movement of the pawl in the opening direction (O) is blocked by an operating unit (5), which can be released by sliding or rotating in a release direction (E).
