The flap (10) has a handle button (22) mechanically or electrically interacting with a flap lock (18) in a controlled manner. The flap lock is arranged in a lower boundary region of the flap at an inner wall (14). The flap lock includes an emergency unlocking mechanism based on requirement. A cover plate (30) is arranged behind an external wall region at the inner wall. The cover plate covers a recess for the handle button based on requirement for a license plate light and/or for a license plate mounting, so as to prevent an access to the underlying flap lock and/or an actuation unit (20).
