Charging system with an electricity charging point and method for interacting between electricity charging point and user

The system has operating units for operating a charging station (1), and display units for displaying status information to a charging process. A computer-based backend device (2) is provided for rating current that is drawn for charging a battery by the charging station. A network (4) enables data exchange between the backend device and charging station. The station has a socket for electrical connection with the battery to be charged using the station. The operating units and/or display units are formed as or partially formed by a mobile device (3) e.g. smartphone and remote control unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for interaction between a charging station and a user of the charging station.
