Carrier for a special signalling device for a roof of a motor vehicle

The attachment has an external construction component (6), and an inner component that are made of plastic. A retaining plate is made of metal and arranged between the inner component and the external construction component. The external construction component has a sealing element, which seals the roof attachment against a roof (2) of a motor vehicle in a mounted state of the attachment. The inner component and the external construction component are connected with each other. A support plate is inserted into a sliding roof recess of the motor vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the support plate for the roof attachment.
