A seat crossmember arrangement of a motor vehicle, with a seat crossmember having a one- or multi-part construction, and extending at least from a vehicle-external crossmember section, across a seat connection section, to a vehicle-internal crossmember section, with the seat connection section extending at least over the width of the connecting elements of a seat, and the vehicle-external crossmember section and the vehicle-internal crossmember section each adjoining the seat connection section in the vehicle transverse direction. When the vehicle-internal crossmember section is subjected to stress in the vehicle transverse direction, it is structurally designed for a medium deformation force level that is higher than the deformation force level in the vehicle-external crossmember section, and that is lower than the deformation force level in the seat connection section.
