Method for starting the drive motor of a vehicle and vehicle, in particular motorcycle or scooter

The method involves supporting a vehicle in a parking state by a stand element i.e. actuation spring (4), and encaging a parking position and/or a folded running position by the stand element. The stand element is mechanically coupled with the parking brake over a rope or bowden cable (5) is such a manner the parking brake is inserted by coupling the stand element in to the parking state. The parking brake is formed by a separate brake device that is mechanically actuated as the parking brake. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle such as motorcycle i.e. scooter including a stand element.
