Filter device

The filter device has a filter housing and a ring filter element, where a functional support (4) is arranged in the filter housing. The functional support has a secondary pin retainer (18), in which a pin intervenes during the assembly of an alternative secondary annular filter element. The secondary pin retainer is formed as a blind hole in comparison to a primary pin retainer (17).
