Forced steering

The restraint steering element has a measuring instrument (1) for determination of the angle of traverse between the towing vehicle and the vehicle trailer, control equipment connected with the measuring instrument and a steering device for twist of the wheels of a guided axle of the vehicle trailer connected at the output with the control equipment. The measuring instrument is formed for determination of the twisting between the towing vehicle and the vehicle trailer. An independent claim is also included for a method for the restraint steering of a vehicle trailer coupled to a towing vehicle.
