Method and device for determining the angle between the trailer and tractor of a tractor-trailer combination

The method involves detecting rotational speeds of wheels (9-12) of trailer (2). The wheel steering angle of the trailer at articulated axle is evaluated. The angle between trailer and towing vehicle is determined by applying detected rotational speeds of wheels of trailer and evaluated wheel steering angle of the trailer at articulated axle in a preset formula.
