Detection of the state of an electrical equipment of a vehicle

The method involves measuring amplitude of magnetic field in two directions, and analyzing measured amplitude of magnetic field for insulating respective contributions of different electric equipments on the magnetic field. States of the electric equipments are deduced. The states of the electric equipments are obtained from values representing the amplitude of magnetic field and coefficients obtained in an acquiring phase. An independent claim is also included for a system for detecting an on or off state of an electric equipment of a vehicle comprising a magnetic sensor.
