Holder for an internal cladding component and method for its production

The carrier (1) has an array (2) made of thermoplastic material, and a hollow profile (3) made of fiber-reinforced plastic and embedded with a closed cross section and in the array. Unidirectional fiber tapes are shaped and processed to a round tube in a combined compressing- and heating tool, and the round tube is shaped for the closed hollow profile to form the hollow profile. The hollow profile is formed as an air guide (4), and a reinforced fiber of the hollow profile is selected from group of glass fibers, carbon fibers, organic fibers or ceramic fibers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a carrier.
