Driverless transport device

The device (1) has a U-shaped frame comprising two side pieces, where steerable front and rear wheel units are arranged on each of the side pieces of the frame. The wheel units are individually drivable by a drive unit and are comprised of two bottom rollers. The bottom rollers are drivable by a brushless electric motor independent of each other. The wheel units are arranged in edges of the frame, and are mechanically connected with each other by a coupling device that is drivable by a spindle drive.
