The rear wheels (8) are mounted in pairs (39) on two sprung trailing links (2) with horizontal axis pivots on the vehicle frame (1). Each wheel is a separate unit, with its own motor, reduction gear and brake unit (3). The single front wheels (6) are similar to the rear wheel units and are mounted on vertical or near vertical pivots (5) for steering.
