Manually operated tool device

The device i.e. motor chain saw (1), has a starter device provided for starting a combustion motor and comprising an electro-motor. A rechargeable battery package is connected with the electro-motor via a switching device for driving the electro-motor. A common operating element is provided for switching-on an igniter and activation of the starter device. The element is adjustable in a stop-position, operating position and start position, where the operating position lies between the stop- and the start-positions. An operating lever (13) or touching lever is provided as the operating element.
