Starting assembly for combustion engines
DRIVE
February 1, 2012
The system has a starter comprising an electrical starter motor, which is switched on by a starting switch for starting an internal combustion engine. The starter motor drives a starter pinion (16) via a transmission, and an intermediate wheel (17) is combed with the starter pinion. The starter motor guides the intermediate wheel into a toothed rim (19) via a frictional connector (26) during switching-on of the motor. The starter motor drives the toothed rim via the pinion and the intermediate wheel for starting the internal combustion engine.
