The turbocharger has a bearing housing (28) connected with a compressor housing (3) at an end by using a fastening device (19). A turbine housing is connected with the bearing housing by using another fastening device, where the compressor, bearing and turbine housings extend along a rotational axis (R). The former fastening device is designed as a plug-rotating-connection device i.e. bayonet joint, and has a locking ring (21) with locking teeth (22) that are arranged at a distance to each other. The locking ring is formed as a single-piece with the compressor housing.
