Turbocharger

The exhaust turbo charger has an outer housing (2), in which a road wheel (5) is arranged. The outer housing is welded with a bearing flange (3) which is provided for fastening the exhaust turbo charger at a bearing housing of a turbine wheel (4). The bearing flange has a bar (13), over which the outer housing is welded with the bearing flange. The bar has a base section.
