Safety cab for the operator of a straddle carrier

The cabin (3) has a deformation element deformable during accidents of the cabin and formed as a cylindrical body (1) or a molded element around a viewing window, where the molded element is transparent and made of thermosetting plastic. The deformation element is formed as rails (6) and carriages (5) for providing a connection between the cabin and a forklift, where the rails and the carriages are moved opposite to each other during accidents such that the forklift is braked. The rails have a tapered slot in a direction of ends, and an airbag (9) is arranged in a steering wheel.
