The method involves closing an automatic clutch of a motor vehicle by a control device at a time point after operation amplification of an energy supply measuring element. Rotational speeds (28) of an output shaft of a drive train and an input shaft of a transmission i.e. dual cutch transmission, of the motor vehicle are adjusted to each other at the time point by increasing the rotational speed of the output shaft. The increasing of the rotational speed of the output shaft is carried out based on operating characteristics of the measuring element.
