Device for supplying fuel to an engine and method for fitting a fuel supply

The device (100) has a connecting piece (10) for connecting a fuel pipe (11,12) of an engine, particularly an engine of a small working device, e.g. for cooking, forest care and landscaping or a motor driven tool. An induction pipe (13) is provided, which is arranged adjacent to a fuel tank (14). The induction pipe has a holding device (15) for holding the arrangement of the connecting piece on the induction pipe. The induction pipe is formed as plastic injection molding component or as metal pressure casting component.
