The hydraulic device comprises a traction drive and an internal combustion engine (13) which is connected with a hydraulic pump (1), particularly a working hydraulic pump of a working hydraulic system, for supplying a pressurizing medium to the user. The pressure accumulator (4) is formed as hydraulic short-time memory. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a hydraulic device.
