Electric heating device

The device has heat-dissipating elements (3) held at opposite sides of a heat-producing element (4). The heat-dissipating elements rest against the heat-producing element under an intermediate layer of an electrically insulating layer (23). Electrical connection elements freely lie at a frame-like housing for current feed of electrical conductive strips (21, 22) and a ground connection over which the dissipating elements are electrically connected to a ground potential of a motor vehicle e.g. hybrid car. A control device arranged at the housing includes a mass guard.
