Method and device for displaying information

The method involves providing a list with multiple list entries (16) to the displayable information. A subset of the list entries is displayed to the list. An information element (26) of display contents of the list entries is displayed to a subset of the list. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for displaying information, particularly in a vehicle; and (2) a vehicle with an interface.
