Motor vehicle axle components and method for their manufacture

The component has light-metal bodies (5, 6) and a tubular body (2) connected with each other by adhesive bonding. An adhesive case (13) is formed between ends (3, 4) of the tubular body and a cylindrical retainer (12) of the light-metal bodies, where the cylindrical retainer is filled with adhesive (K). A set of chamfers is provided at a free end of the cylindrical retainer. Another set of chamfers is provided at the ends of the tubular body. A space (26) between the latter set of chamfers and an adjacent wall of the light-metal bodies is filled with the adhesive. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle axle component.
