Device for actively adjusting toe-in
DRIVE
February 23, 2011
The device has hydraulic structural dampers (7, 8) e.g. vibration dampers, arranged between a vehicle body (2) and a wheel axle and staying in effective connection with a hydraulic adjusting unit (6) by hydraulic lines (17-20). The dampers are formed as differential cylinders and has a throttle valve arranged outside of cylinders of the dampers. A hydraulic fluid is transferred from a side of separating pistons (10, 14) of the dampers to a chamber (11) of the adjusting unit via the throttle valve. The fluid is transferred from the chamber to another side of the pistons via the lines.
