Charging socket for charging an electric car with means for integrating into a telephone network

The socket (1) has a connection unit for connecting the socket to a fixed telephone network (38). The connection unit is provided with a communication/evaluation-CPU (13) for communicating with the fixed telephone network. A charging cable (20) e.g. spiral cable, runs between an input connection clamp (10) of the socket and an electrical connector (23) of a vehicle (22). The CPU communicates with a fixed telephone (39) of the fixed telephone network and is designed as a radio/evaluation CPU with an antenna for communicating with a mobile telephone of a mobile radio network.
