[Object] To provide a stowable vehicle seat having an erroneous operation preventing device during a stowing operation. [Solution] A seat S has an erroneous operation preventing device for, during a stowing or folding operation of the seat S capable of being rotated rearward and stowed by operating a strap 20, locking movement of the strap 20 to regulate the stowing or folding operation, the erroneous operation preventing device including a movable member provided on a seat back 12 side to be abutted with the strap 20, a first connecting member 62 capable of being connected to the movable member, a second connecting member 65 connected to the first connecting member 62 through a first connecting portion 65, a strap connecting member 34 connected to the second connecting member 64 through a second connecting portion 66 and locked to one end portion side of the strap 20, and a regulating means for regulating the movable member or the first connecting member 62 movably toward one side, wherein the first connecting member 62 is supported on a first movable shaft 62a provided on the seat back 12 side, and the first connecting portion 64 is arranged to be moved to cross a straight line connecting the shaft portion 62a and the second connecting portion 66.
