A seat bottom of a vehicle seat includes a base portion (base frame 30, rail slider device 10), a movable frame (40) configured to be movable in a front-rear direction relative to the base portion, a tension generator (gas cylinder 51) and a tension transmission member (connecting wire 61, 62, 63). The tension transmission member connected at one end of its first portion with the tension generator is bifurcated at another end of a first portion (61) into a second portion (62) connected with a seat belt anchor (56) or a seat belt buckle (57) and a third portion (63) connected with the movable frame (40). Upon activation of the tension generator (51), the third portion (63) pulls the movable frame (40) rearward and at the same time the second portion (62) pulls the seat belt anchor (56) or the seat belt buckle (57).
