Device for damping of pressure pulsations in a fluid system, especially in a fuel system of an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
January 26, 2011
The device has housings (38, 40) and an operating chamber (66) that is in communication with a fluid system i.e. fuel system, of an internal combustion engine. A gas volume (58) sealable-closed by membranes (54a, 54b) are provided within the operating chamber, where the device is integrated in housing of a fuel pump. The gas volume is limited by the membranes that are arranged parallel to each other, where edges of the membranes are connected with each other. The operating chamber is sub-divided into two regions by the membranes.
