Device for damping of pressure pulsations in a fluid system, especially in a fuel system of an internal combustion engine

DRIVE April 21, 2004
Source
The pressure pulsation damping device has a housing (38,40) having at least one working space (66) communicating with the fuel system, in which a gas volume (58) sealed by a metal membrane (54a,54b) is provided. The membrane can be provided by a thin-walled metal pipe which is sealed at its ends, the gas volume exhibiting an overpressure at a normal atmospheric pressure.
