Door for a motor vehicle

The door (10) has an opening along which the door is displaceable between closed and open positions by a guiding device, where the door closes and releases the door opening in the closed and open positions, respectively. The guiding device has a guiding element i.e. pivoting lever (12), by which the door is brought into a position, in which the door encloses an angle (40) with a plane (41), during its movement between the closed and open positions, where the plane runs parallel to the door opening.
