Method and device for determining the state of displacement of a vehicle

The method involves equipping a magnetic sensor e.g. low frequency antenna (4) to each wheel (2) of a vehicle. A signal is measured at the terminals of the sensors to deliver a signal representing variations of magnetic field values detected by them. Information of the vehicle at the stop or while rolling is provided in the absence of the signal variations or during a cyclic variation of the signal respectively. An independent claim is also included for a device for determination of the state of movement at the stop or while rolling of a vehicle.
