The reinforcement (1) has a terminal board (1a) supporting a joint (4) against which a bonnet (5) is supported in a closed position, where the bonnet has a stop along a vertical direction. The board is supported against a bumper skin (3). A base (1b) supports an upper part of the bumper skin. The base is deformable along vertical displacement of the terminal board.
