The headrest (10) has a base body (11) and a movable upholstery carrier (16). Inside the upholstery carrier, there is a lever, which can be turned to its working position by a drive unit (41). In the working position, the free end (38) of the lever facing the lever turning bearing (35), forms a spreader (37), moving the upholstery carrier relative to the base body.
