Simulation method for a combustion engine
DRIVE
June 7, 2006
The method involves creating a thermo-dynamic motor simulation model under consideration of an energy balance, mass balance and gas state equation in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine and in an inlet and outlet system. A controlling and/or adjustment parameter of the engine is issued under input of an input parameter. Pressure and temperature in an intake manifold and in the outlet system is thermo-dynamically evaluated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a device for executing a method for simulating a combustion process in an internal combustion engine (B) a computer program product with program codes for executing a method for simulating a combustion process.
