A vehicle (1) has a movable front portion (10), in particular for pedestrian safety in the event of accidents; the front portion (10) is defined by a front bumper (16), by a bonnet (18) closing an engine compartment (2), and by the forward portions (6) of two lateral fenders (4); the front portion (10) is connected to a fixed structure (8) with the interposition of a guide assembly (23) to slide in a longitudinal direction (11) between a forward position and a withdrawn position under the control of an actuating assembly (50) to obtain two different driving configurations of the vehicle (1).
