Fuel injection apparatus
DRIVE
May 17, 2006
The system has a fuel injector (1) subjected to fuel at high pressure and actuated via a metering valve device (12). Fuel is injected through injection ports into a combustion chamber. A damping chamber (38) is defined by a damping piston which has a damping chamber filling path, where the fuel is positively displaced out of the damping chamber via filling path, in which a damping throttle is disposed.
