Tongue retrieval system and a seatbelt apparatus using the same

A tongue retrieval system is provided which is capable of automatically transferring a tongue receiving member for conveying a tongue to a tongue retrieval position, between the tongue retrieval position and a storing position, while a handling operation of a tongue is simplified and assuredness of a retrieval operation of the tongue for an occupant is further improved. The tongue receiving member is transferred from a storing position to a tongue retrieval position when a rod is extended on the basis of a seating signal from a seating sensor and a door-close signal from a door sensor. In addition, the tongue receiving member is transferred from the tongue retrieval position to the storing position when the rod is retracted on the basis of a tongue retrieval signal from a tongue retrieval sensor.
