Vehicle headlamp generating a light pattern with cut off
DRIVE

A lamp (2) has a filament (2a) that extends obliquely or perpendicular to the optical axis of light, with a reflector giving a reflected light beam with cut-off. In front of the lamp is a lens (L) to give off a light beam with cut-off. Extreme incident rays are refracted at the lens exit, substantially parallel to the optical axis. The other light rays emitted by the lamp are refracted with a downward inclination with respect to the optical axis.
