Electric heating device for a vehicle

A two-part casing (20) allows airflow when necessary. An electrically operable heating element (2) is arranged in the casing and is connected to a cable. The two parts of the casing are connectable to one another. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle heating and air conditioning mechanism.
