Support for connecting and suporting a piston rod

DRIVE April 26, 2006
Source
The support has an inner part (1) with a bushing (5) for an axial end of a piston rod, a bearing support (2) and an outer part (3) pressed with a part into a cup-shaped housing with a housing base. The outer part is pressed with its well opened side in a groove such that a flange surrounds a frontal opening of the groove and overlaps the outer part, under formation of a ring-shaped sealing and exertion of a pre-stress of the support.
