Vibration damper

The damper has a piston rod which is shrouded by a tube-shaped body (15). The rod is arranged between a vehicle part and a carrier unit, over a contact bearing. A transmission bearing (21) is provided between the piston rod and the tube-shaped body. The transmission bearing transmits the tilting movement of the absorber over the body to the support bearing, at defied pivoting angle of the contact bearing.
